Gimex is supplier of a wide range of technical ceramic materials. Technical ceramics consists of a group of materials that share the common factor of being inorganic and non-metallic. Generally, components made of technical ceramics are shaped at room temperature. The specific ceramic properties, such as high hardness and abrasion resistance, are acquired through a high-temperature treatment known as sintering. The raw materials used are produced synthetically.

The primary separation of these technical materials is into oxide ceramics and non-oxide ceramics. Gimex also produces machinable ceramics and ceramic coatings.

Take a look at the different material groups and their properties:

  • Oxide ceramics
  • Non-oxide ceramics
  • Machinable ceramics
  • Ceramic coatings

Gimex offers a comprehensive range of properties with which to help you resolve any material issues. Download the datasheet with material specifications.
