Crucibles

Crucibles are available in different shapes, for example, cylindrical with a flat base, or with a round base. They are produced in 99.7 % Al2O3 grade. In addition to a gas-tight grade, there is a porous grade with improved thermal shock properties. Crucibles are used in laboratories and R&D departments for melting glass and metals, and for sintering powders.

Crucibles are not only produced in aluminium oxide, other materials are also used, such as AIN and SiC. Depending on your intended use, we can advise you on the most suitable grade for your application.

Trays

In addition to crucibles, various types of trays and containers are also used during research into (liquid) metals. Gimex provides the option to produce customer-specific designs in a variety of materials. This offers the opportunity to step off the beaten track and make a real difference.
